Privacy Policy

ReelCipe (“we”, “us”) operates reelcipeai.com. We are the personal information controller for the data described here. For any privacy question, or to exercise the rights below, write to support@reelcipeai.com.

• Your email address and password. Passwords are hashed by our authentication provider. We never see or store your password in readable form.
• Your activity in the library. Which reelcipes you save, which you unlock, and when. This is what makes your cookbook work and what enforces the daily free limit.
• Your plan status. Whether you are on Free or Pro, when Pro expires, and the customer and subscription identifiers our payment provider gives us.
• Ordinary server logs. IP address, browser user agent, and requested pages, kept by our hosting provider for security and debugging.

We do not collect your name, address, phone number, date of birth, or any special category of personal information. We never receive your card or e-wallet details — those go directly to our payment provider and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

• To create and secure your account, and to sign you in.
• To show you your saved and unlocked reelcipes, and to keep unlocks permanent.
• To count your unlocks against the daily free limit, which resets at midnight Philippine time.
• To take payment for Pro and to give you the access you paid for.
• To send transactional email, such as a welcome message when Pro starts. We do not send marketing email.
• To recommend similar reelcipes, computed from the catalog and from what you have saved.

We use a small number of processors. Each receives only what it needs, and none of them are permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

• Supabase — authentication and database. Holds your email, hashed password, plan and library activity.
• Vercel — hosting. Handles requests and keeps short-lived server logs.
• PayMongo — payments. Handles your card or e-wallet details directly and tells us only whether a payment succeeded.
• Resend — transactional email. Receives your email address in order to deliver a message.
• OpenAI — used to title, categorise and tag catalog entries, and to compute similarity between them. It processes the library's own content, which is written by our editors. Your account data and your library activity are never sent to it.

Some of these providers operate servers outside the Philippines, so your data may be processed abroad under contractual safeguards.

We set session cookies so that you stay signed in, and nothing else. There are no advertising cookies, no third-party analytics, and no cross-site tracking on this site. Because these cookies are strictly necessary to deliver a service you asked for, there is no consent banner to click through.

Account and library data is kept for as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your profile, saved items and unlock history. Records we are required to keep for tax or accounting purposes — principally payment records — are retained for the period the law requires. Server logs are kept only briefly.

Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) you have the right to be informed, to access your data, to correct it, to object to processing, to have it erased or blocked, to data portability, and to damages for a violation of your rights. You may also lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.

To exercise any of these, email support@reelcipeai.com. We will respond within a reasonable period and will not charge you for a first request.

ReelCipe is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we handle your data, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.
